How often does my credit score update?

How often does my credit score update?

How often does my credit score update?

If you’re checking your credit score every day to try and see your progress, you might be disappointed. Your credit score doesn’t update every day, or even every week. It only updates once per month, and we’ll send you a notification when it does, so that you can come check out what’s changed.

On some credit reporting platforms like Credit Karma, your score will update every seven days. But it’s important to remember that any line of credit only reports to the credit bureaus once every 30 days. So if Mine is your only line of credit, using a platform that updates every seven days still won’t give you any additional information.

If you have multiple lines of credit reporting at different periods throughout the month, then it could be useful to use a service that updates more frequently. But remember, small fluctuations in your score are normal. Keep being responsible with credit, and you should see your score increase over time.
